FORMER Bloemfontein Celtic striker, Roderick Mutuma has failed to make the grade at ABSA Premiership side Moroka Swallows where he has been on trials.
But according to reports from South Africa, Moroka Swallows coach Zeca Marques has decided against signing the Zimbabwean striker.
Mutuma, who lifted the Golden Boot award in 2011 in a memorable campaign in which his goals helped Dynamos to win the league championship, made the switch to the lucrative Absa Premiership, joining Bloemfontein Celtic.
However, Mutuma struggled to impose himself at Celtic and was eventually offloaded barely 15 months after he joined the club- forcing him to return home.
Now after failing to land a contract with the Dube Birds it is highly likely he will return home once again and re-join Dynamos.
The domestic transfer window opened at the beginning of the month and Dynamos secretary general Webster Chikengezha has stated they are keen to register their former player during this transfer window.
Dynamos are also set to lose a number of star players with Ronald Chityo and Stephen Alimenda among those set to leave for greener pastures in South Africa.
