The trial is set to begin on Monday with the player having earned the opportunity to impress Gavin Hunt after a stellar showing in his homeland's top flight.
"Yes, it is true, Muduhwa is going to an assessment with Bidvest Wits for about a week," Muduhwa's agent Gibson Mahachi told local media.
"The aim is to expose him to a different atmosphere where he will experience how other teams out of the coutry play. It's a good thing that he experiences international competition because he is still a young player with a bright future and still has a lot to learn.
"We took this opportunity to send him for this assessment because there are no games being played in South Africa."
Muduhwa recently signed a two-year contract with Buluwayo-based Highlanders.
