HIGHLANDERS interim coach, Mark Mathe, returns to the scene of the violent scenes that led to the departure of his then boss Kelvin Kaindu last month, when the fading giants take on Chicken Inn at Hartsfield.
The game will be played on Sunday.
But Mathe has found no success in the last two games he has been in charge after his team shipped in seven goals without a response after going down 4-0 to Caps United in the league and 3-0 to Harare City in the Chibuku Super Cup semi-finals.
Bosso have brought in Cosmas Zulu as technical adviser as they continue to wear a brave face that they will still finish in the top four.
Said Mathe: “It has been a rough start but we have to fight on. There are still 15 points to play for and we need to regroup as soon as possible and getting back to winning ways.
“There are a lot of injuries in camp from Eric (Mudzingwa), Bruce (Kangwa), Webster (Chingodza), Njabulo (Ncube) and Josta (Joel Ngodzo), but we will see how they come up by the end of the week.”
Against City, Mathe fielded Simba Sithole upfront supported by Charles Sibanda and despite the dominance in the early stages, they failed to get a goal and this is worrying the coach.

Show of defiance ... Highlanders players after the 0-4 hammering by Harare City
Bosso lie in fourth place with 39 points, one ahead of fifth placed Hwange and sixth placed FC Platinum, meaning any slip up will see them going further down the ladder.
Meanwhile, Chapungu have been awarded three points on a 3-0 score-line from their abandoned match against Chiredzi which failed to take place last month after the Lowveld side arrived late without licences and team jerseys.
The three points move Chapungu to 32 points and 10th place, on better goal difference than How Mine who have the same number of points.
Chiredzi are reeling from lack of finances and the latest disciplinary action comes hot on the heels of a fine imposed on coach Gishon Ntini for bringing the game of football into disrepute following comments he made before a match against Caps United in August.
Ntini was fined $1,250 and the fine will be doubled within 14 days if the club does not take action on the coach.
This Friday, Chiredzi are in Bulawayo for a date against How Mine at Hartsfield.
FIXTURES
Friday: How Mine v Chiredzi (Hartsfield)
Sunday: Buffaloes v Harare City (Sakubva), Triangle v Caps United (Gibbo), Dynamos v Chapungu (Rufaro 1500hrs, SS), Dynamos v Chapungu (Rufaro), Highlanders v Chicken Inn (Hartsfield)
