FIFA have slapped Hwange with a 10,000 Swiss francs (US$32,000) fine for the improper transfer of Creven Banda to Botswana side Motlakatse Power Dynamos.
The player’s 2011 transfer was not clearly pronounced by Fifa Transfer Matching System.
The player allegedly returned to Hwange and played without a reverse international clearance from the Botswana FA.
“The club Hwange Collieri FC (sic) is ordered to pay a fine to the amount of CHF 10 000. This fine is to be paid within 30 days of receipt of the ruling. Payment can be made either in Swiss francs (CHF) or in US dollars . .,” read part of Fifa’s judgement.
“The judicial bodies may decide not to communicate the grounds of a decision and instead communicate only the terms of the decision.
“Any request for the grounds of the decision must be sent in writing to the secretariat of the Fifa Disciplinary Committee, within ten days of receipt of notification of the terms of the decision.
“Failure to do so will result in the decision becoming final and binding and the party being deemed to have waived its rights to file an appeal (art. 116 par. 1 of the Fifa Disciplinary Code, herein after FDC).”
